Safari Náutico (Safari Azul): boat trip to the walls of Perito Moreno Glacier
The Safari Náutico, known as Safari Azul, is a catamaran excursion across Brazo Rico on Lago Argentino, getting close to the south wall of Perito Moreno Glacier. From the boat, and then from the shore, the ice walls look imposing, filling the view from top to bottom.
Unlike the Mini Trekking or Big Ice, on the Safari Azul you do not walk on the glacier: you land and walk along the shore, where you can touch the ice up close. The excursion lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours. Afterwards you can add 2 more hours to freely walk the Los Glaciares National Park walkways, with panoramic views of the glacier from above.
